All right, you have a router and wants to login to it so you could change some wifi parameters or any advanced network settings. And then, you look at your router and notice a little stick with the name “Ubee Interactive”. Ok, that means your router was designed and manufactured by one Taiwanese (yes, another electronic brand from the asian tiger) company. And that also means you are reading the right article.
Ubee interactive produces and engineers a lot of telecommunications equipment. If you decided to be one of their clients, or you just need to manage a Ubee router that came to your hands, keep reading this.
How to login to Ubee interactive routers
Let’s explain this in a very straightforward way. Nothing better than clear and simple steps.
Take a look at them:
- Ensure you are connected to the network. It is desirable to establish a physical connection, plugging an ethernet cable from your PC to the router. But if you use wifi is also ok (in this case it might happen that the connection will be lost depending on the new settings you save on the router’s configuration page).
- Now, launch your internet browser and enter the router IP address. For Ubee routers, the default IP addresses are:
- Typing the correct IP address will open a login page requesting login credentials. Now you need to enter your login and username. If you never changed this info before you can use the original default username and password. For ubee routers they are:
- Correct credentials typed. Good! You are now in the configuration page of your Ubee’s router. Here you can manage all the wifi security and network settings you want.
An issue that happens very often is when a user set a new password for the router but forgets it. This will be a problem because you will not be able to login to the router, once you’ve lost the login credentials. In order to access the configuration page it will be necessary to restore the router configuration settings to the original factory ones.
The good news is that resetting your router to the default configuration is easy and quick. In fact, you should spend no more than 10 seconds to do it. This is the time you need to keep the reset button pressed in order to reset the router. After you are done with this, you can try to login again with the default login credentials. It will work now!
Easy, isn’t? Now you can change the networking and wifi settings as you wish. Be sure to enter a new and strong password after resetting the router’s settings. The default password is easy to find information and if somebody tries to hack your router, don’t setting a new password will make his job easier.
